Skin care tips for summer

As soon as summer starts people get worried about their skin. The heat and humidity raises up their level due to which oil glands present in our body gets hyperactive. This leads to itching, sunburn, rashes, premature aging and excessive sweats. We should take care of our skin and our body to have glow as we are having in other seasons.

Following are the tips to get glowing skin and skin care tips in summer.

Bath daily with cold water twice a day


In summer, we should bath twice with cold water during summer. Cold water helps to keep you fresh, improve the blood circulation and keeps the skin and hair healthy.

Use sunscream


Never forget to use sunscream whenever you are coming in contact with sun. The UV rays of sun can damage you skin, cause sunburn, tan, premature aging and wrinkles. Sunscream help to from this problem. Apply sunscream twice a day. Choose the sunscream of broad spectrum and steady at least SPF of 30.


Drink lots of water


Always keep a water bottle with you whenever you go out. Drinking of  water helps to remove toxic from your body and keeps you refreshing even in the hot season.

Go for the light makeup


Always try to go for a minimal makeup as much as you can. Don't use foundation. Instead of foundation use cream with good SPF. Always use lip balms in your lips to it moisturize. Do go for heavy eye makeup. Use only kajal.

Regular yogic exercise


Regular exercise helps you to keep you healthy and energetic. Physical activities helps you to get glowing skin as during exercise your body cells get more oxygen which also helps in healing of damaged skin cells. It also helps to keep you refresh all day.

Take sufficient rest


Take proper rest as the days in summer are longer. To keep yourself healthy take a sleep of 7 to 8 hours in night. Sleeping late in the night and waking up late in morning directly effects your body and skin. Take sufficient rest and in limited time period of sleep. If you tied, then you can take nap whenever you get time.

Do not forget moisturizer


Use moisturizer according to your skin type  and the season. Moisturizer helps to boast hydration in your skin, prevents flaking and dullness and creates a protective layer of moisture that last all day. Use moisturizer in the morning after bathing and in the night before going to sleep.

Change your face wash and body wash/soap


Cleaning your face and body is the basic routine of daily life. Because of hot and humid climate our skin tend to produce sweat and more oil. We should fash our in the morning and before going to bed to remove the make up. Try to opt for face wash and body wash which contains salicylic acid.


Diet in summer


To maintain a glowing skin, you must eat healthy food. Being outdoors more often and sweating more risk your health problem such as dehydration, skin sensitivity a vitamins and minerals deficiencies. Consume fruit like pineapples, oranges, watermelon, blackberry, seafood and vegetables.

Use scrub in your body


During summer, our skin goes with lot of sun exposure because of high temperature. Scrubing your body helps to get rid of dead skin and dirt present in your body. Scrub your body once a week. You can go for a homemade scrub or the scrub present in the market.
